Sikko Industries(up 9.97%), & Fertilizers(up 7.95%), G S F C(up 5.23%), Madras Fertlizers(up 4.74%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(up 4.55%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 4.45%), & Fertilizers(up 2.84%), Aries Agro(up 2.67%), ZUARIAGRO(up 2.43%) and National Fertilizer(up 2.18%) stood among the top gainers.
& Petrochemicals(down 2.32%), KRISHANA(down 1.59%), Agro Phos(down 1.26%) and & Fertilizers(down 0.54%) were among the top losers of the day.
The NSE Nifty50 index ended 27.45 points up at 17604.95, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed up 54.13 points at 59085.43.
Enterprises(up 3.43%), IndusInd Bank(up 2.88%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(up 1.68%), NTPC(up 1.36%), ICICI Bank(up 1.09%), Shree Cement(up 1.05%), Grasim Industries(up 1.05%), Larsen & Toubro(up 0.87%), Power Grid Corporation of India(up 0.83%) and HDFC(up 0.73%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Bharat Petroleum Corporation(down 1.24%), Divis Laboratories(down 1.01%), Tata Steel(down 0.98%), Tata Consultancy(down 0.89%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(down 0.83%), Titan Company Ltd(down 0.79%), ITC(down 0.57%), Britannia Industries(down 0.53%), State Bank of India(down 0.5%) and TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(down 0.45%) closed in the red.
