82 test positive for Covid in Patna

PATNA: The state halth department on Tuesday reported 182 new Covid-19 cases against 97,692 samples tested on the past 24 hours. In the same duration, 149 people recovered from the infection and there were 794 active cases in Bihar.
Of the new cases, maximum 82 were from Patna, followed by 18 from Bhagalpur. Rest other districts reported less than 10 cases. Twelve districts did not report any new case on Tuesday.
As far as active cases are concerned, Patna had 372, followed by Bhagalpur (59), Saharsa (35), Muzaffarpur (29), Munger (26), Purnea (25), Araria (24) and Saran (23).
Of them, 27 are admitted in different health centres and rest are under home isolation. Meanwhile, over 14.91 crore vaccine doses have been administered in the state till Tuesday evening, including over 7.27 crore first doses, over 6.56 crore second and 1.06 crore precautionary doses.
