Kalwa may get fast train halt, island platform

Thane: The railway administration is likely to survey feasibility of constructing an island platform at Kalwa station and halting a few fast trains here soon along with meeting some other demands, passenger activists informed on Tuesday.
The decision was taken during a joint meeting of group of activists led by NCP MLA Jitendra Awhad and railway administration to find a solution for the long-standing commuting woes of passengers here. tnn
