Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 6.95 crore), JP Power(number of shares traded: 5.06 crore), Zomato Ltd.(number of shares traded: 4.56 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 4.56 crore), IDFC First Bank(number of shares traded: 3.36 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 2.97 crore), Reliance Power(number of shares traded: 2.38 crore), Tata Steel(number of shares traded: 2.05 crore), GVK Power Infra(number of shares traded: 1.74 crore) and RBL Bank(number of shares traded: 1.58 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:05AM in Wednesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 20.0 points up at 17597.5, while BSE Sensex was up 47.93 points at 59079.23 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, .(up 2.24 per cent), .(up 2.11 per cent), .(up 1.83 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(up 1.80 per cent) and .(up 1.08 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.57 per cent), .(down 0.99 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 0.79 per cent), .(down 0.70 per cent) and .(down 0.68 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
