Mangaluru: Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha Karnataka state president Rajesh Pavithran said the government should give security to Hindu leaders who are facing life threat. Stringent action should be initiated against those who issue threats to Hindu leaders, he added.
Rajesh told reporters on Monday that he too was facing threat to his life. He said that some unidentified persons had allegedly entered the house of his former driver, who resides in Mukka, and sought details about his whereabouts and business. “The unidentified men had claimed to be from CCB police and had even directed the driver not to reveal it to anyone. Following which, a complaint has been filed,” he said.
Further, he said he suspects that the persons who came asking his information from his former driver were Hindus. “We don’t have any grudge against BJP. We highlight only the mistakes committed. If anything happens to Hindu leaders, the BJP government would be held responsible,” he said. Further, he said Veer Savarkar and Nathuram Godse are their leaders from the start. “We are not projecting them as our leaders to seek votes.”
