Cooperation of opposition important for development

MYSURU: District in-charge minister ST Somashekar on Sunday observed that cooperation of the opposition parties is as important as the role of the ruling party in the development of the state and country.
He was speaking after inaugurating various developmental works at Muguru Shri Tripura Sundari Tibbadevi Amma temple in T Narsipur taluk and performing bhoomi puja for the proposed residential complex.
“Coming to power or running the government is not important. Serving the people and implementing good schemes is important,” he said.
He appreciated local MLA Ashwin Kumar for the implementation of the new developmental works in the temple.
Former minister and Melukote MLA CS Puttaraju stated that developmental works in the temple will continue. MLC Marithibbegowda, and others were present.
