Making school girls and boys sit together will not lead to gender equality: Kerala Cong leader sparks row

Senior Congress leader K Muraleedharan in a controversial remark has said making girls and boys sit together in classrooms will not lead to gender equality. He also also termed the Left government's gender neutral policy in education as a 'wayward reform', adding that the government should ensure giving protection to girls first.
