Jammu and Kashmir voter rolls revision: Farooq Abdullah calls all-party meet over alleged inclusion of ‘outsiders’

Former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir and National Conference President Farooq Abdullah has convened an all-party meeting over the alleged inclusion of outside voters in the voter rolls. The meeting called by Farooq Abdullah is being seen as a move to reactivate the Gupkar alliance. PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti too will attend the meeting. The leaders of some J&K parties allege that the Centre is trying to get included people from outside the state as voters. The Centre, however, has said that nothing has been changed and a needless controversy has been created.
