Mandya Institute of Medical Sciences gets new director

MANDYA: The state government has appointed Dr B J Mahendra as the new director of Mandya Institute of Medical Sciences.
He took charge as the director from Dr M R Harish, who was acting as the director of MIMS.
Dr B J Mahendra has worked as the head of community medicine department of MIMS a decade back. Speaking on the occasion, he referred to his previous experience at the MIMS and said he is familiar with the staff and the officials. "I will work diligently jointly with professors, doctors and staff," he stated.
