Karnataka: Screening for Monkeypox continues

MYSURU: Surveillance activities to detect and curb monkeypox continued at Bavali checkpost in HD Kote taluk.
On Saturday, district vector-borne diseases control officer Dr Chidambar visited the check post and reviewed the situation.
According to taluk health officer Dr Ravi Kumar, no suspected case have been reported in the border areas.
For the last 50 days, surveillance activities are being carried out at the checkpoint. Surveillance is being carried out in two shifts, he added.
