58 test positive for Covid in Patna

PATNA: Bihar reported 118 fresh Covid-19 cases on Saturday against 85,352 samples tested in the last 24 hours. The positivity rate was 0.13% only after 127 persons recovered from the virus infection during the last 24 hours.
There were 735 active cases in the state.
Among the new cases, Patna reported 58 while the other districts had single-digit cases. Seven cases each were reported from Araria and Bhagalpur, six in Purnia, five in Muzaffarpur, three each in Banka and Jamui. At least 15 districts had no fresh Covid cases. The maximum 62 people recovered in Patna.
The state has recorded 8,46,632 Covid cases and 12,290 deaths due to the virus so far.
