Surat: Three day yarn expo inaugurated

SURAT: A three-day Yarn Expo 2022 was inaugurated by Union minister of state for textile, Darshana Jardosh, on Saturday. The annual exhibition has been organized by Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI).
Jardosh applauded the city's contribution to the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign by making over 7.5 crore national flags, while inaugurating the event.
The Yarn Expo has established itself as a platform to exchange technology and trade details for the textile industry. In the event various types of yarns have been put on display by its manufacturers. "Buyers and sellers from various states and countries are expected to participate in the event. Buyers from Algeria, Bangladesh, Egypt, Nepal and Sudan will be visiting the exhibition," said an SGCCI official.
