Ludhiana reports 30 Covid-19 cases, two deaths

LUDHIANA: Two persons died of Covid whereas thirty persons tested positive in Ludhiana on Sunday.
A day before, Forty seven persons had tested positive for Covid and there was no death due to disease in the city.
Health department officials said that as two covid related deaths happened in Ludhiana on Sunday the total number of deaths of the Ludhiana increased to 3013 whereas the number of deaths of outer districts/state in Ludhiana hospitals was 1,136.
Health department said that till date 38,75,549 suspects have been tested for Covid in Ludhiana district. It added that 22 persons from Ludhiana tested positive for Covid whereas 8 from outer districts/states were found to be infected with Virus here on Sunday.
Local health department officials said that till Sunday the total number of patients from Ludhiana district was 113213 whereas with the number of cases from outer districts/states were 15210.
