Cultural history of Goa to be part of syllabus: CM

Bicholim: Chief minister Pramod Sawant on Thursday said the process of including the cultural history of Goa in the school syllabus has started.
Stating that many temples in Goa have been beautified and are now standing in great splendour, Sawant said that in order for the younger generation to know the real history of the archaeological sites, temples, and forts there is a need to include information on them in the school syllabus.
He said that the study sequence will be changed according to the new educational policy.
Sawant to speaking after performing pooja on the banks of river panchaganga at Narvem on Thursday, along with wife Sulakshana, on the occasion of Janmashtami.
