Uttarakhand: Maldevta in Dehradun witnesses flood situation

Torrential rainfall wreaked havoc in parts of Uttarakhand. Flood-like situation was seen in Maldevta area in Dehradun. Many vehicles were submerged in water. Commuters were seen struggling to cross water-filled roads. Few roads were damaged in many areas in the city. 'We have received reports of water entering various premises and damage to roads in many areas, SDRF & NDRF carrying out relief, rescue and restoration operations,' said Commandant Manikant Mishra, SDRF, Dehradun.
