Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Friday at 10:14AM

Sikko Industries(up 20.00%), Rama Phosphates(up 2.91%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(up 2.36%), & Petrochemicals(up 1.93%), Aries Agro(up 1.72%), & Fertilizers(up 1.03%), National Fertilizer(up 0.71%), & Fertilizers(up 0.66%), ZUARIAGRO(up 0.49%) and KRISHANA(up 0.44%) were among the top gainers.

Agro Phos(down 2.50%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(down 1.48%), & Chemicals(down 0.73%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(down 0.61%), Fertilizers (down 0.33%), G S F C(down 0.28%) and & Fertilizers(down 0.11%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 3.65 points up at 17960.15, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 28.92 points at 60326.92 at around 10:14AM.

Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 4.6%), Tech Mahindra(up 2.34%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(up 1.73%), HCL Technologies(up 1.33%), Wipro(up 1.14%), Infosys(up 1.13%), Larsen & Toubro(up 1.05%), Tata Consultancy(up 0.88%), Eicher Motors(up 0.81%) and Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(up 0.81%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Bharat Petroleum Corporation(down 1.79%), IndusInd Bank(down 1.67%), Power Grid Corporation of India(down 1.45%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(down 1.18%), Enterprises(down 1.14%), Coal India(down 0.95%), NTPC(down 0.87%), Bajaj Finance(down 0.83%), Hero MotoCorp(down 0.8%) and Asian Paints(down 0.73%) were trading in the red.
