Prataap Snacks(up 7.19%), Dangee Dums(up 4.20%), Emami(up 2.10%), Hindustan Foods(up 1.85%), Nakoda Group(up 1.72%), Dabur India(up 1.17%), DFM Foods(up 1.14%), Colgate Palmolive(India)(up 0.76%), Dodla Dairy(up 0.73%) and P & G Hygiene(up 0.41%) were among the top gainers.
Future Consumer(down 2.78%), Varun Beverages(down 1.85%), Euro India Fresh Foods(down 1.78%), JHS Svendgaard Laboratories(down 1.59%), Zydus Wellness(down 1.09%), Hindustan Unilever(down 0.51%), Britannia Industries(down 0.43%), Godrej Consumer Products(down 0.41%), Umang Dairies(down 0.36%) and Jyothy Labs(down 0.33%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 6.65 points down at 17949.85, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 2.62 points at 60300.62 at around 09:59AM.
Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 2.93%), Tech Mahindra(up 2.14%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(up 1.43%), Wipro(up 1.39%), Larsen & Toubro(up 1.08%), HCL Technologies(up 1.07%), Infosys(up 1.06%), Tata Consultancy(up 1.01%), Eicher Motors(up 0.92%) and Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(up 0.7%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, IndusInd Bank(down 1.78%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(down 1.7%), Power Grid Corporation of India(down 1.53%), Coal India(down 1.06%), Enterprises(down 1.05%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(down 1.01%), NTPC(down 0.87%), Cipla(down 0.73%), Bajaj Finance(down 0.72%) and ICICI Bank(down 0.72%) were trading in the red.
