Kirkland & Ellis has announced that Louisa Cobbe will be joining the firm in London as a partner in the Investment Funds Group.
Jonathan Tadd, the investment funds partner based in London, remarked, "Cobbe has vast experience with real estate joint ventures, and both closed- and open-ended funds in the real estate space. Working with Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner as a partner, Cobbe has extensive experience advising on the structuring, capital raising and ongoing operation of investment vehicles and funds, with a particular focus on real estate, including joint ventures, club deals and co-investments, and as indirect acquisitions and disposals of real estate assets and businesses.
Meanwhile, Kirkland & Ellis' European investment funds practice has over 25 partners and advises many of Europe's preeminent investment fund sponsors on their fundraisings, ongoing fund-related matters (including liquidity solutions) and sponsor strategic transactions.
