Baby croc tees off golfers at LVP course

Vadodara: A baby crocodile decided to practice putting on the lush green sprawling golf course at Laxmi Vilas Palace on Thursday morning, but instead teed off the human golfers who were jolted by the unexpected visitor.
“I picked it up safely and released the baby in the bushes nearby,” said Bandish Shah, one of the golfers and a sitting councillor, and thus spoiled the reptile’s fun. Shah, who also believed that the reptile must have ventured out of Vishwamitri river that flows by the golf course, added that it was, however, the first encounter he had with a crocodile on the golf course during playing hours.
