ReutersNEW DELHI: Several stocks gained in excess of 15% in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Banaras Beads(up 19.99%), SecMark Consultancy(up 19.99%), Almondz Global(up 19.95%), Aarnav Fashions(up 19.93%), Ultracab(India)(up 19.31%), Eros Media(up 18.65%), Magna Electro(up 18.32%), Ltd.(up 16.55%) and DCM Ltd(up 16.03%) were among the stocks that surged over 15%.
The 30-share index, BSE was trading 12.77 points up at 60310.77, while the 50-share index, NSE was 0.5 points up at 17957.0.
In the Nifty50 index, 19 stocks traded in the green, while 31 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as , , , and hit their fresh 52-week high, while , , Chordia Food, and touched their new 52-week low during the session.
