Pune: Round 2 first year of junior college admission confirmation ends today

PUNE: Students who have been allotted seats in the second round of centralized admissions to the first year of junior college (FYJC) can confirm their admissions latest by Wednesday 6pm.
The centralized admission process (CAP) committee has also issued a notification saying that the last date to confirm admissions to bifocal courses is also Wednesday at 6pm.
In the second regular CAP round, 59,566 seats were available in round two of which 17,062 students were allotted seats. Till Tuesday evening, 5,285 were admitted. A total of 54,281 seats remain vacant.
The overall admission statistics which include both rounds and also the CAP and quota admissions state that in the 306 junior colleges in Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation, there was a combined intake capacity of 1,09,070 of which 37,665 students have been admitted while the vacancy remains at 71,405.
Colleges will display their respective vacancy list on the CAP website https://pune.11thadmission.org.in on August 18.
