Actress Huma Qureshi, who will soon be seen in her anti-body shaming film 'Double XL', recently talked about unrealistic beauty standards and that body shaming 'erodes' people's 'confidence'. During her recent interview with a daily, Huma stated that women face 'body-shaming every single day' and people 'look at women’s bodies and use dismissive words'. The actress also said that the 'problem is deeply ingrained in us' and she was approached by many women telling her 'that the subject is relevant'. Huma further stated, 'Body shaming erodes somebody's confidence. When we make a film about it and use our position as actors to create awareness, we start a healthy conversation.'
