Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Tuesday at 10:09AM

Sikko Industries(up 4.88%), & Petrochemicals(up 3.82%), ZUARIAGRO(up 2.75%), Aries Agro(up 1.74%), G S F C(up 1.66%), KRISHANA(up 1.19%), Fertilizers (up 1.09%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 0.90%), & Fertilizers(up 0.80%) and Madhya Bharat Agro Products(up 0.69%) were among the top gainers.

National Fertilizer(down 0.70%), & Chemicals(down 0.60%), & Fertilizers(down 0.55%), Madras Fertlizers(down 0.42%), Coromandel International(down 0.24%) and Agro Phos(down 0.14%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 123.85 points up at 17822.0, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 419.42 points at 59882.2 at around 10:09AM.

Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 3.49%), Eicher Motors(up 2.34%), SBI Life(up 2.06%), Asian Paints(up 2.0%), Hero MotoCorp(up 1.94%), Maruti Suzuki(up 1.87%), Mahindra & Mahindra(up 1.8%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(up 1.72%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(up 1.53%) and Hindustan Unilever(up 1.46%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Grasim Industries(down 2.41%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 1.04%), Hindalco Industries(down 0.95%), JSW Steel(down 0.45%), State Bank of India(down 0.31%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(down 0.24%), Bharti Airtel(down 0.14%), Tata Steel(down 0.13%) and Divis Laboratories(down 0.02%) were trading in the red.
