MRF shares gain 3.6% as Sensex rises

Shares of the . traded at Rs 86250.0 on BSE at 10:10AM (IST) on Tuesday, up 3.6 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 62944.5 and a high of Rs 89333.0.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap down opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 58.29 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 1478.99 per share and 1.96 times its book value, as per BSE data.

A total of 691 shares changed hands on the counter till 10:10AM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 36564.97 crore and is part of the Tyres & Tubes industry.

The scrip has been an underperformer , up 9.65 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 10.08 per cent gain in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 86612.8 and Rs 83250.05.

Promoters held 27.49 per cent in the company as of 30-Jun-2022. FII and MF ownership in MRF Ltd. stood at 16.05 per cent and 6.21 per cent, respectively.
