NorthEast United FC (NEUFC) will play against Odisha FC in the first match of group D of the Durand Cup at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium (Sarusojai) in Guwahati on August 17.
The match will start at 6 pm.
All the 10 matches of the group will be played in Guwahati. This is the first that Guwahati and Imphal are hosting the matches of Asiaβs oldest football tournament.
This is the 131st edition of the Durand Cup.

The tournament, however, will begin on August 16 at Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan (VYBK) in Kolkata. Defending champion FC Goa will face local giants Mohammedan Sporting Club in the opening Group A game.

NEUFC which has just recently named the head coach Marco Balbul will face Army Green FT in their second match on August 22 at 3 pm.
The other teams in Group D are Sudeva Delhi FC and Kerala Blasters. In this edition, for the first time, 20 teams from ISL, I-League and Indian Armed Forces are participating.

The tickets for the Guwahati matches will be available on bookmyshow.com. Apart from that the fans will also be able to buy the tickets offline at the SAI box office, Paltan Bazar from 10 am to 5 pm and at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium Gate – 1 box office 10 am to 5 pm.
The ticket prices have been fixed at Rs 50, Rs 100 and Rs 250 for Guwahati matches.
