Man found dead in Kanota, probe on

Jaipur: A man in his 40s was found dead in Kanota on Sunday morning. SHO (Kanota) Arun Poonia said that the deceased could not be identified. He said that there was blood on his body. A syringe and a medicine vial were also found near the body. Poonia said they have not ruled out the possibility of suspected drug overdose, however, he said that only a proper investigation and medical report will determine the cause of death.
“The deceased could not be identified. Efforts are underway to track his family,” he said. The police said that the post-mortem will be held only when his family claims his body. tnn
