PUNE: The auto components manufacturer, and former auto OEM, Kinetic Engineering Limited (KEL) has announced that it will set up a subsidiary company that will solely focus on the electric vehicles business, in which it will hold a 51% stake.
KEL, which is headquartered in Pune and has its major works in Ahmednagar, said that the actual focus of the company is still up for discussion. “It will explore all opportunities and then make a final decision on how to go ahead in this space,” said Ajinkya Firodia, MD, KEL.
