Metro Line Connecting Shanghai Downtown and Chongming Island Starts Welding

The rail transit Chongming Line connecting Shanghai downtown and Chongming Island has ushered in a major construction node. The Chongming line is a rapid transit line on the Shanghai Metro. At present, the large shield tunnel machine "Shentong" of the Chongming Line, which opens up the cross-river tunnel, has been pre-assembled and officially entered the stage of welding. This is the largest shield tunnel in the history of the Shanghai Metro project, which further accelerates the construction of the new line.
