Man kills woman for slapping him

Varanasi: One Dilshad Ali alias Sonu brutally murdered a woman Armana with a sword for allegedly insulting and slapping him, on Sunday late night. He then surrendered before Kotwali police in Ballia district. A couple in Armana’s house were also injured in Dilshad’s attack.
SP Ballia Rajkaran Nayyar said, “Dilshad Ali, a native of Baheri area under the limits of Kotwali police station, had raided his neighbouring house of Armana and attacked her with a sharp edged weapon over some personal dispute. In the bid to save Armana, her family members Kurban Shah (60) and Badrunnisha (56) also got injured in an attack by Dilshad. Armana died while Badrunnisha and Shah were admitted to hospital. At around 3am Dilshad reached Kotwali to surrender before the police. The weapon used in the killing was also recovered.”
ASP DP Tripathi and CO City Priti Tripathi along with heavy police force reached the spot.
Investigations revealed that Armana lived with her cousin brother Noor Alam, who had recently married Dilshad’s sister. A few days ago Dilshad had some dispute with Armana over which she had slapped him . Dilshad was upset over it. tnn
