Aamir Khan's much-awaited film 'Laal Singh Chaddha', the remake of the 1994 movie 'Forrest Gump,' was recently released and is receiving mixed reviews from the viewers. Now, The Academy has praised the Aamir Khan starrer, calling it a faithful adaptation of the Hollywood film. Taking to an official Twitter handle, The Academy tweeted, 'Forrest Gump meets Laal Singh Chaddha. Robert Zemeckis and Eric Roth’s sweeping story of a man who changed the world with kindness receive a faithful Indian adaptation in Advait Chandan and Atul Kulkarni’s ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ feat.
