Tamil Nadu: Three-day international kite festival kicks off in Mahabalipuram

Tamil Nadu’s first-ever international kite festival kicked off on Aug 13. The three-day kite festival is taking place in Mahabalipuram. People can visit the venue between noon and 6 pm till August 15. The entry is free for children up to the age of 12 years and other visitors will have to pay Rs 150. The organisers are planning to make it an annual event.
