Gujarat man splurges Rs 2 lakh to revamp car on 'Har Ghar Tiranga' theme

A youth, Sidharth Doshi, from Gujarat spent Rs 2 lakh on revamping his car on 'Har Ghar Tiranga' (tricolour at every home) theme and drove to Delhi from his hometown Surat in two days to spread awareness about the campaign among the masses.

Sidharth Doshi has also expressed the desire to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah.

“To make people aware of the campaign, I drove from Surat (Gujarat) to Delhi in my car in 2 days, we want to meet PM Modi and Amit Shah," ANI news agency quoted Sidharth Doshi as saying.

HAR GHAR TIRANGA CAMPAIGN:

The 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign is being observed across the country as a three-day exercise from August 13 to 15 marking the 75th anniversary of India's Independence. The government has urged people to hoist or display tricolour in their homes as part of 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav'.
