Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said the ace investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, who passed away at the age of 62 today, was indomitable and full of life.
"Rakesh Jhunjhunwala was indomitable. Full of life, witty and insightful, he leaves behind an indelible contribution to the financial world. He was also very passionate about India’s progress. His passing away is saddening. My condolences to his family and admirers. Om Shanti," Modi said in a message on Twitter.
Last year in October, Jhunjhunwala and his wife Rekha went to the Prime Minister's Office and even gave a presentation on India's economic growth. He had said that "India ka time aa gaya” (India’s time has come) and that the country’s economic fortunes are set to change beyond “imagination”.
