Amit Burman News Live Updates: The Board at Dabur accepted the resignation of Amit Burman from the post of Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company with effect from the close of working hours of August 10, 2022. Amit Burman shall continue to be the Non-Executive Director of the Company.
Appointment of Mohit Burman (who is currently the Non-Executive Vice Chairman of the Company) as the Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company for a period of 5 years w.e.f. August 11, 2022.

Over seven per cent of Indians owned digital currency in the form of cryptocurrency in 2021, according to the United Nations trade and development body UNCTAD, which said the use of cryptocurrencies globally, including the developing countries, has increased exponentially during the COVID-19 pandemic. The UN body released data on the share of the population in the top 20 economies that owned digital currencies in 2021. Ukraine topped the list with 12.7 pc of its population holding such currencies. India found itself at the seventh spot.

Vigilance agency raids 26 premises linked to former Tamil Nadu minister KPP Baskar
The Directorate of Vigilance and Anti Corruption (DVAC) has carried out searches at the premises of former All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) minister KPP Baskar and his family members for possession of disproportionate assets. Baskar is said to be a close aide of Edappadi K Palaniswami, the incumbent Leader of Opposition in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly and the Interim General Secretary of the AIADMK. Searches were carried out in 26 locations. It's alleged by the agency that his assets were disproportionate to that of his income by Rs 4.72 crore.

Myanmar reports first Covid-19 death in over 4 months
Myanmar reported its first death from Covid-19 in more than four months in the past 24 hours, bringing the death toll in the country to 19,435, according to the Health Ministry.
