Chiyaan Vikram starrer 'Cobra' is slated for release on August 31st, on the occasion of Vinayaka Chathurthi, and the latest report suggests that the trailer will be out on August 15. “A grand audio launch following an impressive trailer is planned to be released in the upcoming days. 'Cobra' trailer is ready, and we can expect it on August 15,” says a source close to the team. Directed by Ajay Gnanamuthi, 'Cobra' is reported to be a spy thriller, Vikram will be seen as a mathematician in the film. Srinidhi Shetty plays the female lead, and the film also has cricketer Irfan Pathan, actors KS Ravikumar, Miya George, Mirnalini Ravi, Roshan Mathew, and Meenakshi Govindarajan among others in crucial roles. AR Rahman is scoring the music, and the composer is working on the final musical works. 'Cobra' will be released in Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada, and the simultaneous release will benefit Chiyaan Vikram to score massive at the box office. The new release date of the film was announced a few days back, and the makers have planned some extensive promotions for the film. The expectations are high for the film as it has been under production for over two years.
