Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Thursday at 10:04AM

Agro Phos(up 6.60%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(up 3.30%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(up 3.09%), Aries Agro(up 0.70%), KRISHANA(up 0.48%), Sikko Industries(up 0.46%), Coromandel International(up 0.39%), G S F C(up 0.34%), Rama Phosphates(up 0.32%) and ZUARIAGRO(up 0.31%) were among the top gainers.

Madras Fertlizers(down 3.08%), & Fertilizers(down 1.60%), & Fertilizers(down 1.54%), Fertilizers (down 1.35%), & Petrochemicals(down 1.15%), National Fertilizer(down 0.60%) and Southern Petrochemicals Industries(down 0.44%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 163.55 points up at 17698.3, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 572.57 points at 59389.86 at around 10:04AM.

Tech Mahindra(up 2.87%), Wipro(up 2.03%), Axis Bank(up 2.0%), Eicher Motors(up 1.91%), ICICI Bank(up 1.82%), IndusInd Bank(up 1.77%), Bajaj Finance(up 1.7%), Tata Consultancy(up 1.65%), Asian Paints(up 1.58%) and Titan Company Ltd(up 1.51%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(down 1.5%), Divis Laboratories(down 0.85%), Hindalco Industries(down 0.49%), NTPC(down 0.32%), Grasim Industries(down 0.12%), Bharti Airtel(down 0.08%), Bajaj Auto(down 0.03%) and Enterprises(down 0.02%) were trading in the red.
