Getty ImagesNEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 515.31 points up at 59332.60 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Ltd.(down 19.77 per cent), SVP Housing(down 15.23 per cent), Purple Entertainment(down 11.87 per cent), Dynemic Product(down 11.70 per cent) and Texmo Pipe Prod(down 11.16 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 29 stocks closed in the green, while 20 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 124.25 points up at 17659.0.
On the BSE, Dynemic Product(PP), , , Ltd. and Future Consumer hit their fresh 52-week lows, while , , , and touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
