The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted moderate rain in the city and suburbs with the possibility of heavy rainfall at isolated places in the next 24 hours. It has also forecast occasional strong winds of 40 to 50 kilometre per hour gusting up to 60kmph. Woman clerk from Thane school held for taking bribe
The Anti-Corruption Bureau has arrested a 43-year-old woman clerk from a private school in Maharashtra's Thane city for allegedly taking bribe, the ACB said here on Thursday. (PTI)

On July 1, the metropolis reported 978 cases and two fatalities, before the daily number of cases started dipping gradually.
