Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: JP Power(number of shares traded: 14.44 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 7.80 crore), Zomato Ltd.(number of shares traded: 6.98 crore), Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 3.91 crore), GTL Infra(number of shares traded: 2.84 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 2.19 crore), IDFC First Bank(number of shares traded: 2.18 crore), Karda Const(number of shares traded: 2.00 crore), Tata Steel(number of shares traded: 1.92 crore) and Reliance Power(number of shares traded: 1.54 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:50AM in Wednesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 0.8 points up at 17525.9, while BSE Sensex was down 8.75 points at 58844.32 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, .(up 3.48 per cent), .(up 1.64 per cent), .(up 1.56 per cent), .(up 1.46 per cent) and UPL Ltd.(up 1.38 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While .(down 2.06 per cent), .(down 1.80 per cent), .(down 1.79 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(down 1.54 per cent) and & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 1.45 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
