The NSE Nifty index closed 9.65 points up at 17534.75, while BSE Sensex ended down 35.78 points at 58817.29.
On the other hand, .(down 2.63 per cent), .(down 2.29 per cent), .(down 1.98 per cent), .(down 1.45 per cent) and & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 1.38 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
