Anand Mahindra's love for life hacks and budget-friendly innovations (better known as 'jugaad' colloquially) is an open secret.
On Wednesday, the Chairman of Mahindra Group took to Twitter to share with his 9.6 million followers that he is a fan of out-of-the-box thinking too.
Alongside a picture of a printed coffee mug, the 67-year-old said that he was eager to buy the product.
The mug showed a game of tic-tac-toe that ended in a draw. Above the print, 'Think Outside The BOX' was written and the two Xs under it were used to complete the game in the favour of 'X'.
The auto boss looked at the deeper meaning behind the 'clever' mug. He said that joining the dots outside a system can help solve many problems. "The solution to a problem often lies by joining the dots with something OUTSIDE your own ecosystemβ¦," his post concluded.
His post was lauded by many and was liked more than 1,700 times in an hour.
A user showed his creative thinking and impressed Mahindra with a 'checkmate' post - in which he struck out the Os with help from the same word 'BOX'. The top boss used clap emoji to retweet his comment.
Other users jumped in to share their views in the comments section.
While one shared another side to the story, some people termed this move as 'cheating'. The replies were insightful and funny at the same time.
