Agro Phos(up 7.89%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(up 7.45%), Sikko Industries(up 5.39%), & Petrochemicals(up 5.00%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(up 4.38%), Aries Agro(up 2.86%), Coromandel International(up 2.54%), KRISHANA(up 0.91%) and & Fertilizers(up 0.61%) stood among the top gainers.
Madras Fertlizers(down 4.10%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(down 2.52%), ZUARIAGRO(down 2.45%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(down 2.41%), National Fertilizer(down 1.68%), G S F C(down 1.56%), & Fertilizers(down 1.11%), Fertilizers(down 1.09%), Rama Phosphates(down 1.05%) and & Fertilizers(down 0.50%) were among the top losers of the day.
The NSE Nifty50 index ended 9.65 points up at 17534.75, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed down 35.78 points at 58817.29.
Hindalco Industries(up 4.44%), UPL Ltd(up 2.16%), Coal India(up 2.07%), Enterprises(up 2.03%), Tata Steel(up 1.87%), Tata Motors(up 1.56%), Bharti Airtel(up 1.55%), ICICI Bank(up 1.41%), Larsen & Toubro(up 1.39%) and Hero MotoCorp(up 1.37%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Bajaj Finance(down 2.63%), NTPC(down 2.29%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 1.98%), HCL Technologies(down 1.45%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(down 1.38%), Asian Paints(down 1.35%), Wipro(down 1.31%), UltraTech Cement(down 1.23%), State Bank of India(down 1.1%) and Infosys(down 1.05%) closed in the red.
