New colours
Samsung is expected to launch new colours across its product range set to launch today. Rumours suggest Bora Purple, Graphite and Pink Golden as new colour additions. The Galaxy ecosystem going the Apple ecosystem way?
Last year, when Samsung launched the Galaxy Watch 4, there was no support for iPhone. While it paired fine with other Android phones, Samsung took a page from Apple's playbook, and reserved seamless performance with the Galaxy range of smartphones. Will it be the case this year as well? We will find out soon.
More than flips and folds
The focus may all be on the foldable phones from Samsung, don't forget that we will see the Galaxy Watch and the Galaxy Buds Pro
Galaxy Watch: It may be time for Samsung to get Pro
Speculations suggest that Samsung may launch a Pro version of the Galaxy Watch. Samsung Galaxy Watch Pro is rumoured to be the rugged version of the company's smartwatch targeted at sports lovers and trekkers. Apple too is widely rumoured to launch a rugged variant of Apple Watch this year.
Will we see a design overhaul or Samsung will play it safe?
What we saw with Galaxy Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3 were well-designed and much-refined phones. So it is unlikely Samsung will go for an overhaul. We expect some incremental upgrades but don't expect any major change in the design of the two phones.
Three years ago, Galaxy foldables could be summed up in a single word: radical. Very quickly, however, it became clear that this groundbreaking, flexible design fit perfectly into modern lifestyles. As a result, what was once a novelty three years ago, is now the preferred choice for millions.
