Shares of Oberoi Realty(up 1.62 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(up 1.0 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises(up 0.94 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Phoenix Mills(down 3.35 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate(down 3.0 per cent), Godrej Properties(down 1.43 per cent), Macrotech Developers(down 1.33 per cent) and DLF(down 0.49 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 0.87 per cent down at 434.8.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 9.65 points at 17534.75, while the BSE Sensex stood down 35.78 points at 58817.29.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 30 ended in the green, while 20 closed in the red.
Shares of JP Power, Zomato Ltd., YES Bank, and Tata Steel were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Ltd., , Fine Organic Ind., and hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Dynemic Product(PP), , Sumeet Ind, Vipul Ltd and hit their fresh 52-week lows.
