Jaipur: Love for mathematics and physics along with just half an hour of daily mobile usage, was the recipe for Mayank Motwani from Kota to secure 100 percentile and All India Rank 15 in JEE Main session 2 examination.
Motwani, who studied from Kota said that he mainly focused on the NCERT syllabus along with solving practice papers. After clearing JEE Advance, he aims to join the Indian Institute of Technology-Bombay and study Computer Science.
“I always liked mathematics and focused on it, which made preparing for JEE quite easy. Along with JEE, I also sat for different Olympiad examinations in school under the guidance of my elder brother, which also acted as part of my preparation. But my focus was to cover the entire NCERT syllabus which helped me a lot,” said Motwani.
Motwani said that he prefers studying 5am onwards and divides his time by giving two hours to every subject.
As a stress buster, Motwani likes to play chess at times with his family. tnn
