JAIPUR: A 36-year-old man was murdered in Kanota area of Jaipur on Sunday. He was strangled with a towel and later beaten with iron rods to death.
Police have also recovered a blood-stained baton used in hitting the man.
According to Kanota police, some locals informed the police control room on Sunday that a blood-stained body of a man was lying near the Ring Road under Kanota police station area of Jaipur.
Soon after, a team of senior police officers reached the spot along with a team of Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL).
“Prima facie it appeared that he was first strangulated with a towel and was later beaten with a baton.We have also found a tattoo on his hand with the name of Rishikesh. However, we are also attempting to identify him,” said a senior police officer on Monday.
Police stated that it is evident from the crime spot that at least two persons have killed him.
