IIT Delhi wins inter-college crossword contest, IIM Kozhikode becomes runner-up

Amar Kumar Mishra and Rajaram K of Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode bagged the second position whereas Aedha Nimisha and Prathama Priyadarshini of Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical College and Research Institute, Bengaluru (SABVMCRI) bagged the third position.
Altogether 16 teams of institutes of higher education across the country had qualified for the two-day Finale event held at the AICTE Auditorium in New Delhi. Team IIT Delhi was awarded a cash prize of Rs 25,000; Team IIM Kozhikode received a cash prize of Rs 20,000 and Team SABVMCRI received a cash prize of Rs 15,000.
The finale was conducted by a renowned cross-master and teacher Alan Cowell and Ramki Krishnan, a five-time national champion of Indian Crossword League (IXL), served as the chief arbiter.
