Deevyanshu Malu Odisha topper in JEE Main-2022

Deevyanshu, a native of Bhubaneswar, secured 99.989 NTA score. He did not appear for the Session-II examination of the JEE Main. He will choose computer science as his subject of study while taking admission. “I will try to get a good rank in JEE Advanced to ensure a seat in IIT. But IIT Bombay is my favourite,” he added.
He has recently won a gold medal in an International Physics Olympiad conducted at Mumbai by a Switzerland organisation. He loves physics and has secured 100 percent in physics, chemistry and mathematics in Class XII CBSE board examination, said his father Chandan Malu.
He was preparing for the examinations with his twin brother Deeptanshu, who secured 99.937 NTA score. Deevyanshu’s mother, an engineer, was the driving force behind them. She was teaching them at home. They are the students of the KIIT International School Bhubaneswar.
Sthiti Padhi was the Odisha topper in female category with 99.903 NTA score. A total of 24 students from different states scored 100 NTA score. But nobody from Odisha has secured the perfect score, NTA sources said.
The JEE Main session-I examination was conducted from June 24 to June 30. Session II test was conducted between July 25 and July 30. The NTA scores for paper-II (BArch, B Planning) will be declared separately, said the official sources.
