Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.39% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 11:11AM(IST)on Monday in an upbeat market.

Macrotech Developers(up 1.23 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(up 0.85 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate(up 0.77 per cent), DLF(up 0.65 per cent) and Prestige Estates Projects(up 0.5 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Godrej Properties(down 0.38 per cent) and Phoenix Mills(down 0.17 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

The Nifty Realty index was up 0.39 per cent at 439.6 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 64.95 points at 17462.45, while the BSE Sensex was up 258.98 points at 58646.91.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 29 were trading in the green, while 21 were in the red.

Shares of Zomato Ltd., YES Bank, JP Power, and were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Ltd., Cool Caps Industries Ltd., , Mold-Tek Pack and hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while , Zensar Tech, , and hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
