A thoroughly convincing win for Sindhu, who let's not forget wasn't one hundred percent fit going into the final. Michelle Li tried to make her move up and down the court but the Indian coped well with her opponent's game plan to play the final on her terms.

One has to remember while Sindhu did win Gold at the Gold Coast CWG in the Mixed Team event, she had to settle for a silver in the Women's Singles final against one Saina Nehwal in the all India final. At Glasgow 2014, she finished with a bronze in the Singles. Here, she is close to getting her first CWG Singles gold.
